Attorney Trent Bond is one of the founders of the law firm of Portner Bond PLLC, based in Beaumont, Texas. In his more than 30 years of practicing law, Mr. Bond has amassed extensive experience with personal injury matters, including accidents, product liability, wrongful death and workplace injury cases. He also has experience with admiralty and maritime law. Mr. Bond represents clients in Beaumont and throughout the state of Texas.
After serving in the U.S. Navy for six years, Mr. Bond earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. He went onto obtain his law degree from South Texas College of Law.
Mr. Bond is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, as well as the U.S. district courts for the southern and eastern districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Bond is a member of a variety of professional organizations, including the Jefferson County Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Bond is also a lifetime member of the Texas Bar Foundation. Mr. Bond also belongs to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, organizations composed solely of lawyers who have obtained million- or multimillion-dollar settlements or verdicts for their clients.
His achievements have earned Mr. Bond the respect of his colleagues in the legal profession. Among other honors he has received, he received the highest rating, AV Preeminent,* from the noted peer review service Martindale-Hubbell.
