Lisa Shapiro Strauss

Former Prosecutor, now working to help the accused citizens in and around Houston, Texas.  Lisa thoroughly prepares pretrial work, investigation and strategies for all cases.  Our goal is to get the charges reduced to lesser included offenses, deferred or dismissed.  Lisa spends time helping people charged with theft offenses, assault charges, including family violence assaults, drug crimes and DWI cases.  

Lisa uses every day of her 26 years of experience to learn new ways to assist clients in their best defense strategy.  Lisa has been trained by the District Attorney's Office, which helps her know what to expect and pass the knowledge on to her clients.  She is ready and willing to have a jury hear the facts of cases that are not resolved in the pretrial process.  Lisa's experience in trying cases through the DA's Office and as a defense attorney has prepared her to help in the most complex of situations.

Lisa currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association.  Being involved with peers at the statewide level gives her the opportunity to learn and network with the top attorneys in the field statewide.  Lisa served on the Board of Directors of the Harris County Criminal Lawyer's Association, which enables her to help other attorneys in the practice.  This group also give Lisa access to the specialties within her community and their resources.
