John W. Anderson

John W. Anderson is a dedicated attorney serving clients in personal injury, criminal defense and family law issues. Working from his firm, J.W. Anderson Law Firm in Bellville, Texas, he counsels clients in areas around Brenham, Bellville, Hempstead, Bay City and La Grange. With nearly a decade of experience in the legal profession, he provides customized counsel and vigorous advocacy. 

Mr. Anderson served in the army as an infantryman after he graduated from high school. He holds a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat overseas in Iraq. After his discharge, he attended Sam Houston State University and received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. He proceeded to hone his legal knowledge at South Texas College of Law, during which he served as a law clerk to several criminal defense attorneys. He gained his license to practice in Texas in 2016 and has since been committed to serving clients relentlessly. 

His experience as an intern and a law clerk during law school provided Mr. Anderson with early insight into the proceedings of personal injury and criminal defense cases. This led him to establish his own firm, focusing on these two fields of law. He has also served as a court-appointed attorney for Indigent Defense programs in various counties, where he mitigated complex cases such as possession of drugs, thefts, sexual assaults and murders. 

Mr. Anderson’s approach to his practice has been shaped by his experience in the military. He brings integrity, professionalism and passion to accomplish significant outcomes.
