Upon joining the MBMT Law Firm, Mr. Tijerina became swiftly involved in his legal career, collaborating closely with attorney Trey Martinez on construction defect cases related to the Hidalgo County Jail and prominent hotel chains. Within the initial two years of practice, Mr. Tijerina played a pivotal role in litigating or settling numerous multimillion-dollar cases. 

At the start of his career, Mr. Tijerina assumed the role of first chair in a federal court trial pertaining to construction defects and insurance, securing a verdict in excess of $2 million. His proficiency was also acknowledged by the 13th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for his insightful interpretations of Certificate of Merit laws concerning construction cases.

Mr. Tijerina holds bar admissions in Texas, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, solidifying his authority to practice law across multiple jurisdictions.
