Ms. Markham is an experienced litigator, who is skilled in both negotiating settlements and taking cases to trial. Ms. Markham focuses her practice areas on family law, probate, guardianship, and estate planning. Although she has only been licensed to practice law since April of 2021, Ms. Markham's legal experience prior to her being licensed allowed her to have a head start in her legal training before, during and after law school.
Ms. Markham's ability to handle high-conflict cases has allowed her to help her clients prevail in contested actions and obtain results in favor of her clients such as permanent protective orders, sole managing conservatorships, disproportionate shares in property, preservation of estate assets, findings of contempt, and attorney's fees judgments.
Given the aftermath of the Vietnam War and the conflicts that arose with her father’s military role in opposing communism, Ms. Markham’s parents made the decision to immigrate their family to the United States when she was just a very young child to ensure that Ms. Markham and her older sister would receive a better future. Because of the struggles and the sacrifices her parents faced to protect and provide for her family, fighting for families is one of Ms. Markham’s biggest passions.
Ms. Markham earned both her bachelor's and master’s degree in criminal justice and obtained her Juris Doctor with Mitchell Hamline School of Law in May of 2020. Ms. Markham is currently a certified Guardianship attorney and is a member of the Texas Bar College and Montgomery County Bar Association. Ms. Markham is an active member with her church in Conroe, Texas and actively volunteers for both non-legal and legal matters within her community. Lastly but most importantly, Ms. Markham is a proud Christ follower, wife, and mother to two boys.
