Emily Noel Hilliard

Emily Noel Hilliard is an attorney with Hilliard Law in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she brings a distinctive combination of determination, compassion and an unwavering commitment to justice to the firm’s personal injury practice. Licensed to practice law in Texas since November 2014, Ms. Hilliard became an integral part of Hilliard Law’s mass-tort litigation division shortly after admission. Her work includes active involvement in the ongoing multidistrict litigation concerning General Motors. Among her notable contributions is her recent assistance in the firm’s successful effort to correct the record for an innocent Texas woman who had been wrongly held responsible for the death of her fiancé following a 2007 Saturn Ion crash later linked to a defective ignition switch.

A Corpus Christi native, Ms. Hilliard earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in May 2014. During law school, she received dean’s list recognition in 2011, 2012 and 2013. She also contributed extensively to student publications, writing as a weekly columnist for “Annotations” and later serving as assistant editor-in-chief. Her advocacy training was further shaped through leadership and competition: she was selected as a first-year sectional representative for the Board of Advocates, advanced as a quarter-finalist in the 2012 South Texas Summer Academy Mock Trial Challenge and competed as a member of the nationally recognized varsity mock trial program throughout her tenure.

Ms. Hilliard completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity University in San Antonio on an academic scholarship, earning dean’s list honors from 2009 through 2011. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with double minors in English and French, and held campus leadership roles in student organizations.
