Matthew McMullen

A skilled and energetic attorney at Hilliard Law in Corpus Christi, Texas, Matthew McMullen has dedicated his legal career to using his talent and experience to empower his clients to lead their lives the way they prefer. With around 10 years of experience practicing personal injury law, he has been helping clients going through the most challenging times of their lives with grace and tenacity. 

Mr. McMullen is a 2009 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, and he went on to complete his Juris Doctor in 2012 at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He served on the law school’s Elder Law Practice Group in the Spring of 2012. Prior to joining the present firm, he worked at a plaintiff-oriented catastrophic injury boutique firm and a national plaintiff’s injury firm. In his first trial, the jury returned a verdict about three times higher than the last offer from the insurance company.

Dedicated to advocating in and out of court for the rights of those injured in car accidents, amusement park ride defects, product design defects, falls, assaults and civil rights violations, Mr. McMullen has always proven himself as a knowledgeable ally to his clients as they navigate their way through their case. Taking every delay or setback as a challenge, he tirelessly strives to pursue justice for his clients.

Licensed by the Minnesota State Bar Association, Mr. McMullen represents clients in all state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice and the Minnesota State Bar Association. In 2014, he was named the Minnesota North Star Lawyer by the Minnesota State Bar Association for his extensive work representing tenants and consumers targeted by debt collectors.
