A partner at Burke Bogdanowicz PLLC, Aaron J. Burke focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, representing people and businesses throughout Texas. He has been with the firm since February 2021, and he is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Mr. Burke has additionally appeared pro hac vice in jurisdictions around the country.
A significant portion of Mr. Burke’s caseload consists of product liability matters and other types of personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, and he has achieved great success on behalf of his clients in these matters both at the trial level and on appeal. Some of his representative results in this regard have included a summary judgment in favor of an e-cigarette/vape retailer in a claim that centered on an explosion of a lithium-ion battery and a dismissal with prejudice of a lawsuit involving a pipeline rupture.
Other matters that Mr. Burke has handled have included the representation of accountants and attorneys in professional malpractice claims, contract breaches, business torts such as commercial disparagement and interference with contractual relations, bad faith and other insurance coverage issues, construction defects, real estate disputes, and trust and estate litigation. His successful track record in all of these endeavors has earned him a great deal of favorable recognition from his colleagues, including being selected in D Magazine’s annual list of Best Lawyers in Dallas.
After graduating from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelor of Science in history, summa cum laude, Mr. Burke enrolled at Baylor Law School. While he was there, he served on the Baylor Law Review and participated in mock trial and moot court competitions before being awarded his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude.
