Using bold and aggressive strategies, I work to leverage a resolution to my clients' matters at the earliest possible opportunity. The goal is to take the burden of claims and litigation off of my clients so that they can do what they do best: serve their own customers and clients rather than worry about the past. My practice is focused on the representation of clients facing lawsuits in the construction, professional services, insurance, and real estate industries.

I'm honored to have been selected by my peers as a Texas Superlawyers in 2026 and as a Rising Star in the area of Personal Injury Defense for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. and 2024.

After starting my career trying cases as an assistant district attorney and defending them on appeal as Chief of the Appellate Division in Waco, Texas, I feel at home in any courtroom in Texas or across the country. I have also assisted clients in handling and responding to investigations by various government agencies for civil, criminal, and regulatory issues including OSHA, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Real Estate Commission, and the Texas Railroad Commission.

He is very active in the legal community, having been twice appointed by the State Bar President to serve a three-year term on the State Bar Committee on Administration of the Rules of Evidence. Alex is also a former two-term director on the board of the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association.

Alex received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2009 and his Bachelor of Arts from the Honors College at Baylor University in 2006.
