Austin F. Pennington

The founding father of the Texas-based legal firm The Pennington Firm, Austin F. Pennington is an established attorney well known for his work in the Texas legal community. Focusing his practice primarily on real estate law, he has spent the last 10 years assisting and advising his clients in negotiations and making strategic decisions. His experience and skill lie in helping his clients with entity formation, litigating real estate lawsuits, and drafting commercial and residential lease agreements. Additionally, he takes up cases involving family law and personal injury. 

Mr. Pennington attended Texas Tech University and graduated in 2009 magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. The same year, he enrolled in the university’s School of Law to study law. While pursuing law, he was also simultaneously a student at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business. He graduated in 2012, securing both Doctor of Jurisprudence and Master of Business Administration degrees.

During his time in law school, Mr. Pennington actively engaged in internships and served as a law clerk in multiple law firms, where he undertook various tasks ranging from drafting court filings and legal memos to conducting research for issues concerning real estate law, construction law and personal injury. Doing so, he gained invaluable experience and hands-on experience in the law school itself, which prepared him to face the legal challenges with confidence upon graduation.

After graduating and earning his bar license to practice law in Texas in 2012, Mr. Pennington worked at two renowned legal firms for nearly two and a half years. He has represented his clients at courts across the state, including the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Later, in 2014, he founded his law firm, The Pennington Firm, with the determination to provide legal services to his clients in a multitude of industries.
