REPRESENTATIVE WORK
- Obtained unanimous jury verdict in divorce case involving the valuation, characterization, and division of complex assets and business entities.
- Successfully submitted a brief on the merits to the Fifth Court of Appeals in appellate case involving the arbitration of a divorce case and challenge of a post-marital agreement.
- Persuaded the court to reconsider and overturn its ruling which granted an emergency protective order
- Successfully represented grandparents and was able to achieve a conservatorship designation and possession schedule on their behalf.
- Successfully litigated numerous cases involving complex property matters and child related issues on behalf of professional athletes, business executives, medical professionals, and homemakers.
- Prosecuted and defended several cases involving allegations of family violence.
- Obtained summary judgments regarding characterization of property.
- Successfully submitted a brief on the merits to the Second Court of Appeals in an appellate case involving the division of military retirement benefits
- Experience litigating and handling numerous cases through the process of arbitration
