Details
Brant M. Webb is an attorney with The Webb Family Law Firm, P.C. As the name of the firm would suggest, he focuses his practice exclusively on family law matters, and he represents clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Ellis, Rockwall and Denton counties. Mr. Webb became admitted to practice before all Texas state courts in 2011, and he is additionally admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
A significant portion of Mr. Webb’s client base is comprised of area residents who are facing the end of their marriage. Although in many cases they are able to communicate with each other without rancor and thus can negotiate an uncontested divorce settlement with his assistance, there are other situations where litigation has become unavoidable. In such an event, Mr. Webb will provide effective advocacy in front of a family law judge on the issues that are affecting his client, such as the division of complex assets, child custody and visitation, alimony, and child support.
Mr. Webb frequently prepares and reviews prenuptial and post-marital agreements, and he has handled cases involving paternity disputes and establishment. In addition, he has assisted clients who have been the victims of domestic violence and who need appropriate restraining orders issued. Other family law matters that Mr. Webb has extensive experience in include the obtaining of modifications to previously issued parenting or support court orders.
A prolific author, Mr. Webb has had numerous articles published on a variety of family law topics, including post-decree proceedings. A graduate of what was then known as the Texas Wesleyan School of Law, he is a member of several professional organizations.
