Licensed in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, New York and Pennsylvania, and admitted to practice before nine federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 9th Circuits, his reach extends well beyond state lines.

An academic foundation is rooted in excellence; Mr. Steckler earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1992, where he served as a leading articles editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce and sat on the Moot Court Board. Before law school, he graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in 1989, where he also earned varsity letters as a member of the 1986 NESCAC Champion football team.
