Mr. Evans recently achieved a significant legal milestone by securing a summary judgment for a national retail chain in a personal injury lawsuit, marking the first instance in two decades that the presiding judge granted a summary judgment in such a case. He also secured a summary judgment in a multimillion-dollar personal injury case defending a major construction firm. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Mr. Evans obtained his B.A. in history from The University of Alabama in 1992 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1997. His academic excellence in law school earned him membership in the Journal of the Legal Profession, a recognition given to students in the top 20% of their class.
Prior to relocating to Dallas, Mr. Evans launched his legal career at a well-established firm in Birmingham, Alabama; a firm home to more than 250 attorneys. His courtroom experience also spans Mississippi and Kentucky. Furthermore, he frequently conducts mock trials focusing on catastrophic loss cases for the insurance industry in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
Mr. Evans is an esteemed delegate of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). Rated "Superb" on Avvo, he was recognized by D Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas for insurance law in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
