Christopher W. Patton

Chris Patton specializes in complex business litigation. His extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts has led to significant victories on behalf of a diverse set clients. His practice focuses on multiple areas of law including antitrust, intellectual property, fiduciary duty, securities, trusts and estates, oil and gas, employment, and contract claims. Chris’s outstanding work has earned him the recognition of his peers, having been selected as a "Texas Rising Star" by Thomson Reuters for 2015 to 2018. 

Prior to joining Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst, LLP, Chris practiced commercial litigation in New York at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Chris received his J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School, and he obtained his B.A. from Brigham Young University. Chris is married to Janelle and they have three children. He is an accomplished jazz pianist.

Chris is licensed to practice in Texas and New York.
