D. Carl Money is a trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience representing mesothelioma patients and their families across the United States and United Kingdom. Licensed in Texas, New York, England, and Wales, he has built an international practice focused on holding corporations accountable when they put profits over people.
Earlier in his career, Carl served as general counsel in the Texas Legislature, directing legislative agendas to ensure access to justice for individuals harmed by corporate misconduct. Throughout his civilian legal career, he also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General's Corps, retiring on Veteran's Day 2018. In his final active-duty role as Deputy Regional Counsel of the Southern Region Office of Soldiers' Counsel, he oversaw legal services for wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers navigating the Integrated Disability Evaluation System.
Carl is a member of the American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (UK), and Pan European Organization of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is a past Board Member of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and a Board of Advocates Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Texas Monthly named him a Super Lawyer, and he has presented on asbestos litigation throughout the U.S. and U.K.
He earned a B.A. in International Studies from Austin College and a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Appellate Advocacy.
