David Criss

David Criss is an attorney at Criss Law Group, PLLC, in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Criss has a diverse legal practice, helping a wide variety of clients with business litigation, domestic partnerships, estate planning, family law, health law, personal injury, probate, professional liability defense, professional responsibility defense and small-business representation. He represents individuals and businesses throughout the Dallas metropolitan area.

Raised in Burkburnett, Texas, Mr. Criss earned a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Prior to attending law school, he worked for various political representatives and served on the Texas Incentive and Productivity Commission. He went on to graduate cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he participated in the Board of Advocates and the SMU Law Review Association. 

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Criss has successfully argued many jury trials on behalf of his clients. He has also helped clients protect their interests through transactional matters and resolve disputes through negotiation. He provides trustworthy and dependable advice, and is always willing to fight for his clients’ best interests, whether inside or outside of the courtroom.

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Criss stays involved in his legal community in many ways. He speaks on various legal topics to attorneys and other professionals and is an author of several articles for professional publications. Additionally, he is a member of the Dallas Bar Association Health Law Section and the State Bar of Texas Health Law Section and Litigation Section. He also belongs to the American Health Law Association.
