After graduating from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in 1967, Mr. Branson went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1969. He subsequently received his Master of Laws from the same institution in 1974. Admitted to practice in Texas, Mr. Branson is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 8th Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.
