Recognized for her impeccable professionalism and service, she has earned several awards and honors throughout her career, including the Chair's Award from the State Bar of Texas' International Law Section in both 2016 and 2018. She has also received many awards from the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

A 2004 summa cum laude graduate of California State University, Bakersfield, Ms. Smith obtained her Juris Doctor summa cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 2008. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Texas as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Texas and Pennsylvania Supreme Courts.

Active in her legal community, Ms. Smith serves as secretary for the State Bar of Texas International Law Section. She has also served on the board of directors for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as an advisory board member of the 4Word Women nonprofit organization.
