As president of Kessler Collins, PC, Gary S. Kessler is well-known throughout Texas for corporate litigation services that are practically unmatched. With extensive national and international experience, Mr. Kessler has represented countless major domestic and international corporations, financial institutions and insurers. He focuses on complex corporate matters such as business litigation, commercial real estate and leasing, intellectual property, insurance and commercial litigation, securities litigation and arbitration. Mr. Kessler's international experience has included representing the People's Republic of China for claims under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
Mr. Kessler is board certified as a civil trial lawyer. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas and before the U.S. Courts for the Districts of Texas; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth and Ninth Circuits; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. Tax Court. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Notre Dame in 1971, Mr. Kessler received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1974. While attending law school, he earned the Russell Baker Moot Court Award and was president of the professional law fraternity Delta Theta Phi.
Today, Mr. Kessler is a member of the prestigious Dallas Inns of Court and is an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He also lectures frequently for industry organizations. He is rated as AV-Preeminent* with Martindale-Hubbell, and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America** every year since 1997. Mr. Kessler is a member of such associations as the American Bar Association, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Attorney-Mediators, the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
