A Dallas native, Mr. Frankfurt attended the University of Oklahoma, where he focused on criminology with a minor in political science and history. He made it to the dean's list every semester there and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), an international sociology honor society, as well as an elected member of the Student Congress. After graduating with distinction in 2009, he attended Emory University School of Law for a time before returning to his alma mater and obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2012.

Mr. Frankfurt is licensed to practice before all Texas state courts, and he holds his admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is also an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Collin County Bar Association, the Texas DWI Lawyers Association, and the Texas and Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Associations.
