Mr. Rubin is known for his strategic, detail-oriented advocacy in litigation and regulatory issues. He represents clients at all stages of litigation, from pretrial strategy to trial and appeal. He frequently appears in federal courts and administrative bodies. His work often involves handling statutory and regulatory systems while finding practical, results-oriented solutions for his clients. And his time serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the Honorable Irma Carrillo Ramirez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit have and continue to inform his practice each and every day.
Mr. Rubin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2020.
Mr. Rubin is admitted to practice law in Texas and before the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 10th Circuits; the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas; and the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review.
Actively engaged in the legal community, Mr. Rubin serves as a council member of the Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas and as a co-chair of The Bar Association of The Fifth Federal Circuit Civil and Administrative Law Committee. He is also active in the Federal Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, where he holds multiple leadership roles, and serves on the board of the San Antonio Academy of Texas Alumni Association.
