Jack Siegel is an unpaid overtime attorney. He leads the Siegel Law Group PLLC as its managing partner. Mr. Siegel opened the Siegel Law Group to help fight for employees whose employers commit wage theft. Mr. Siegel is passionate about assisting his clients in unpaid overtime lawsuits. This is because his working class upbringing that allows him to empathize with each of his clients.
In fact, Mr. Siegel proudly represented his mother against pharmaceutical giant, CVS Health. He filed the suit after CVS terminated his mom from a customer service position she worked for over 18 years. Following her termination, he discovered that CVS had not paid its customer service representatives for pre-shift work at call centers. After years of litigation, the CVS Call Center lawsuit ended up settling for over $15 million dollars. This made the wage & hour settlement one of the ten largest private settlements in the country in 2019.

Siegel is also highly experience wage and hour litigator. In fact, Mr. Siegel has appeared in over 120 unpaid overtime actions since 2014. The vast majority of these unpaid wage lawsuits were pleaded as collective or class actions. These cases are regularly certified as class and collective actions. In addition to being an active litigator, Mr. Siegel has long been involved in many educational and legal groups, including the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section. He has also been a contributor to the Midwinter report for the leading treatise for the Fair Labor Standards Act, entitled, “Kearns, The Fair Labor Standards Act,” published by Bloomberg BNA in conjunction with the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law since 2017.
2. Education & Other Experience
Jack studied at the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated summa cum laude. While studying at Texas, Jack earned a 4.0 GPA and was named a “distinguished scholar” for his outstanding academic performance. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jack attended the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law—a school consistently ranked as one of the top 20 law schools in the United States. During his time at Gould School of Law, Jack served as a law journal editor of the schools Interdisciplinary Law Journal.
During Law School, Jack earned a highly coveted clerkship working for U.S. District Court Judge Fred Berry. His experience as a clerk helped him understand the ins and outs of Federal Courts in Texas and across the country. He now uses this practical experience and his academic background to litigate overtime claims for clients in federal court.
