Jim Fisher began his legal career in 1981 after earning his law degree from University of Colorado Law School and his approval to practice law in the state of Colorado. In 1986, Mr. Fisher relocated to Texas, and the State Bar of Texas admitted him that year. In the more than 30 years that have passed since Jim began practicing law in Texas, he has earned the respect of the legal community for his consummate legal abilities and care for his clients.
Over the course of his career, he has handled a number of high-profile cases. However, his most memorable legal moment came in 1998 when he deposed President Bill Clinton. This deposition made him the only attorney to have ever taken a deposition from an acting president. The deposition resulted in President Clinton's disbarment, his impeachment and a fine for nearly $100,000.
