Jason F. Franklin

Jason Franklin has tried many dozens of lawsuits to a verdict on behalf of injured people and is frequently sought after as a speaker to teach other lawyers about trial law.  

Jason Franklin is Past President of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association (DTLA), one of the largest local trial lawyer associations in Texas, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Jason Franklin is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization -- Only approximately 2% of Texas attorneys are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law. Those attorneys not board certified cannot claim to be specialists in the field.  In addition, Jason has been inducted as a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates, a life-member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum (fewer that 1% of U.S. attorneys are members) and has been repeatedly named to the National Trial Lawyers - Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

Jason graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in political science. Jason then obtained his Juris Doctor Law Degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law with several honors, including induction into SMU’s Barristers and the National Order of Barristers. Jason received the Excellence in Advocacy Award for his participation on numerous Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. In addition, he served on the Computer Law Review and Technology Journal and served as Vice President of the Board of Advocates.

Jason is a single father to his daughter, Morgan. The experience of raising a daughter has taught him valuable lessons about life, relationships and “being present.”  Jason is also active in his church, the First Unitarian Church of Dallas.  As hobbies, Jason is an avid adventure sports and adventure travel enthusiast. He has walked the ground on all seven continents; has taken a highly memorable “polar bear plunge” in Antarctica; climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru; and has dived among great white sharks in South Africa. The many adventure sports he enjoys include skydiving, scuba diving, snow skiing, snowboarding, wake surfing and boarding, and mountain biking.
