Attorney Jennifer J. Spencer is the founding partner of Jackson Spencer Law, and she has over 35 years of experience advocating for the rights of employees facing difficulties within their workplace. A skilled and compassionate employment litigation attorney, she plays a critical role in advising and defending her clients in the event of a dispute or disagreement.
Keen on protecting the rights of Dallas, Texas, employees, Ms. Spencer believes that every employee is entitled to expect fair and just treatment in their workplace. She has helped many clients navigate the legalities of reporting sexual harassment; whistleblower retaliation; discrimination based on age, gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy and nationality; wage theft; workplace violence; and issues related to FMLA, FLSA and pregnancy leaves.
Ms. Spencer graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1984. She then attended The University of Texas at Austin School of Law to pursue her legal education. She received her Juris Doctor and was inducted into the Order of the Coif in 1987. The same year, she obtained her certified public accountant (CPA) license from the United Latino Students Association and became authorized to practice in Texas.
