Jennifer Stanton Hargrave concentrates her practice exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, collaborative divorce, child support and custody, property division, spousal support and the enforcement of support orders. Board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, she represents clients throughout the Dallas area. Since turning her focus entirely to family law in 2006, Ms. Hargrave has remained committed to deepening her knowledge of her practice area, having completed the South Texas College of Law's Houston Family Law Trial Institute program as well as advanced training in collaborative law from the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.

After earning her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California, Davis, in 1992, Ms. Hargrave pursued her law degree at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 1995. Admitted to practice in Texas, she is a member of the American and Dallas bar associations, the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the College of the State Bar of Texas.

In addition to her family law practice for which she has garnered multiple accolades, including twice being named to D Magazine's Best Lawyers in Dallas list, Ms. Hargrave is a widely respected lecturer on collaborative law and other topics at events in the Dallas area and statewide. For two years, she served as an instructor for a continuing education program at her Soutern Methodist University aimed at educating women about divorce. Ms. Hargrave is highly active in the Episcopal Church as a member of the Executive Council for the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, former vestry member at a church and assistant chancellor for the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas.  Ms. Hargrave also serves on the Board of Directors for The Family Place, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower victims of family violence.
