A partner at Sbaiti & Company PLLC in Dallas, Texas, Jonathan Bridges joined the firm in 2020. A seasoned trial lawyer, he brings more than two decades of experience in complex, high-stakes civil litigation. His practice concentrates on business litigation, class actions and mass torts, and consumer protection matters.
Mr. Bridges has litigated a broad range of commercial disputes involving real estate, oil and gas interests, coal mining, energy generation, zoning and eminent domain, intellectual property, and the entertainment and theater industries. He has developed particular competence in qui tam litigation under the federal False Claims Act, minority-shareholder rights, and the strategic and procedural demands of multi-party, high-value civil cases.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Bridges has developed particular competence in prosecuting and defending qui tam actions under the federal False Claims Act, protecting minority-shareholder rights and managing every phase of sophisticated civil litigation. His courtroom experience extends to venues across the United States. He has handled multimillion-dollar civil matters before:

Prior to law school, Mr. Bridges taught English for five years to at-risk high school students in Kansas City and Indianapolis. He holds a master’s degree in English from Ball State University, where he completed his studies with a perfect academic record. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, serving as editor-in-chief of the Notre Dame Law Review.
Following law school, Mr. Bridges clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Reavley of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He then joined the respected litigation firm as an associate in 2001 and was elevated to partner four years later. He is recognized for his strategic acumen and trial skills in complex commercial litigation and for a sustained record of success in high-stakes matters at the federal and state levels.

- The editor of Black's Law Dictionary and nationally acclaimed guru of all things having to do with legal writing, Bryan Garner, featured one of Bridges's briefs in the 2011 edition of Advanced Legal Writing & Editing.
