Katherine H. Stepp

A highly regarded civil trial attorney, Katherine H. Stepp is a founding partner at Deans Stepp Law. The firm is located in Dallas, Texas, and she represents individuals and businesses throughout the greater metropolitan area, across the state, and nationwide. Admitted to practice in Texas since 2004, Ms. Stepp is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Ms. Stepp has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at the state and federal trial and appellate levels. The types of cases that she has worked on during her distinguished career have involved defective products, premises liability, toxic torts, and other types of personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Ms. Stepp’s experience has additionally encompassed oil and gas litigation, employment law matters, real estate disputes, and general business and commercial issues. As an undergraduate, Ms. Stepp attended Chaminade University of Honolulu, where she majored in history and political studies and was a member of the school’s chapter of the national scholastic honor society Delta Epsilon Sigma before receiving a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in 2000. Her legal education was obtained at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in Dallas, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2004. Ms. Stepp is an active participant in the Dallas Bar Association and several other professional organizations.
