With an experience of over two decades, Keith Harris has dedicated his career to standing up for those who have been charged with criminal offenses and white collar crimes. Mr. Harris earned his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. He began his legal career as a Dallas County prosecutor and later transitioned to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. Known for his honesty, fairness and hard work, he gained a solid reputation in both counties.
In Dallas, Mr. Harris served as chief prosecutor of two different felony district courts and as deputy chief of the Misdemeanor Trial Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He also prosecuted child abuse and family violence cases. In Tarrant County, he handled a wide variety of felony cases and eventually worked exclusively in the Gang/Homicide Unit on cases involving organized crime. Throughout his career in both counties, he mentored other prosecutors and interacted daily with judges, probation officers and court staff, gaining an in-depth understanding of the legal system.
With nearly 150 jury trials and thousands of criminal cases handled, Mr. Harris is known for his upfront and honest approach. His peers respect him for his skills and experience, which he leverages to benefit his clients. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003 and authorized to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, he is committed to using his comprehensive legal knowledge to assist clients through their challenging times.
