Kendall Castello has established himself as a respected leader in the North Texas criminal justice community, bringing decades of high-level prosecutorial and administrative experience to his role at MC Criminal Law. Since co-founding the firm, Kendall has played a central role in building its reputation for strategic, results-driven defense, drawing on his deep understanding of how cases are evaluated and prosecuted at every level.
Before transitioning to criminal defense, Kendall served as Administrative Chief at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he oversaw multiple felony district courts, the family violence division, and the child abuse division, while managing a $49 million budget. His leadership during that time earned him recognition from his peers as Administrator of the Year in 2016. Kendall has extensive trial experience, having taken a wide range of cases to jury verdict, including capital murder, murder, drug, and family violence offenses.
Kendall remains actively involved in the legal community and previously served as Criminal Law Chair of the Dallas Bar Association, reflecting both his leadership and the respect he has earned among judges, prosecutors, and defense attorneys throughout North Texas. His ability to navigate complex cases and maintain strong professional relationships continues to be a defining strength in his practice.
He received his undergraduate degree with honors in Biblical Text from Abilene Christian University and earned his juris doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
