Kevin Edwards

Kevin Edwards is a co-founder of DFW Injury Lawyers, based in Dallas, Texas, where he represents people injured by negligence, defective products and mass tort conduct. His practice focuses on securing meaningful recoveries for clients harmed by corporate or institutional wrongdoing, using litigation, negotiation and trial advocacy tailored to high-stakes personal injury matters.

A native of Houston, Mr. Edwards attended Alief Hastings High School before earning a scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin, where he competed on the 1995–1996 National Championship Swimming & Diving Team. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003, contributing to the Texas Tech Law Review and serving as 3L class president – roles that sharpened his legal writing, leadership and analytical skills.

Early professional experience shaped Mr. Edwards’ approach to representation. While in law school he worked alongside a prominent personal injury practitioner, gaining exposure to pre-litigation strategy, courtroom procedure, and trial preparation in cases ranging from motor vehicle and trucking collisions to medical negligence and catastrophic injury. After graduation, he spent several years defending corporations, insurers, employers and transportation companies at a high-volume civil litigation firm in Dallas, which provided a thorough understanding of defense tactics and claims handling.

Motivated by what he observed on the defense side, Mr. Edwards switched to plaintiff-side work in 2008 and has since devoted his career to advocating for injured people. Over the past 15 years, he has pursued recovery for thousands of victims in individual personal injury actions, product liability suits and large-scale mass tort litigation against medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Mr. Edwards’ practice combines tenacious advocacy with careful case development and readiness to take matters to trial when justice requires it.

Admitted to practice in Texas since 2003 and in Arizona since 2023, Mr. Edwards is also authorized in multiple U.S. District Courts across Texas. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and he has been recognized among Top 40 Under 40 and other national rankings.
