He is licensed to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.

Mr. Carter was a Dallas County Assistant District Attorney and an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas state after law school. He serves his clients with a firm commitment to their needs and best interests. He ensures his clients are kept informed throughout their case and fights aggressively for their rights and liberties at every turn.

Actively associated with the legal community, Mr. Carter is a fellow at the American College of Trial Lawyers and is on its State Committee.
