Linda G. Moore

Linda Moore is a business litigator known for the personal attention she provides to her clients as they face general business disputes and other legal matters including group employee benefits, ERISA, insurance defense and bad faith, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and Deceptive Trade Practice Act claims.

She began her career as a briefing attorney to Justice Carlton B. Dodson in the 7th Court of Appeals, Amarillo, Texas, and later worked as a law clerk for Judge Lou Robinson, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas. The invaluable insights into litigation procedure she gained in those roles helped inform her work as a big-firm lawyer, where she earned a reputation for being a highly skilled, tenacious attorney. She joined the litigation boutique of Estes Thorne & Carr in 2012, where she has continued to represent clients in both federal and state trial and appellate courts.

Linda is a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow and Dallas Bar Foundation Life Fellow. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. Active in her community, she is a past president of the Board of Directors for the Resource Center of Dallas and a member of the Resource Center Foundation board. She is a breeder of cocker spaniels and pugs, including a cocker spaniel that was the No. 1 dog in 2011 and holds the record for most Best in Show victories by a sporting dog. She currently serves as the president of the American Spaniel Club.
