Lisa Duffee

Co-founder of Duffee + Eitzen, Lisa Duffee is a family law attorney in Dallas, Texas. She focuses her practice on family law issues such as divorce, complex property division, child custody and more. With over 35 years of experience practicing law, Ms. Duffee provides knowledgeable counsel and support to clients throughout Dallas-Fort Worth who are going through a divorce or have some other serious legal issues affecting their families. 

Ms. Duffee is known for the personal and dedicated representation she gives to her clients, delivering clear advice and support, and guiding them through all phases of the legal process with empathy. Whenever possible, she resolves issues through negotiation, as this often results in reduced financial and emotional burden on the client, but she is prepared to go to court when it is in the best interests of her clients.

Prior to founding Duffee + Eitzen, Ms. Duffee was partner at two prominent Dallas law firms where she handled business litigation and real estate matters. Ms. Duffee earned her Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Indian Bar Association and Collaborative Law Dallas. Ms. Duffee was formerly a board member of the Dallas Bar Association in the family law section. 

An active contributor to her community, Ms. Duffee supports organizations such as North Texas Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, The Bridge, Attorneys Serving the Community and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program. Duffee + Eitzen is a founding supporter of the SMU VanSickle Family Law Clinic.
