She is a 1998 graduate of Southern Methodist University and has spent her career pursuing successful cases for her Texas clients. Marie Briner is a member of several legal associations, including the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association and the exclusive legal honorary National Order of Barristers, among others. Her dedication to her community is demonstrated in her current and previous memberships including serving on the advisory board of Westwood Financial Group, as a board member of the Dallas Child and Family Guidance Center and KLife Highland Park, and Junior League of Dallas. Ms. Briner has served on the Dallas County Child Death and Fatality Review Board and on the advisory council for a local church's child development program. She has also served as an instructor for mock trial teams and as a trial advocacy instructor at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law.
While the majority of family law cases do not go to trial, if it is necessary to do so, clients of Ms. Briner can be assured of her trial skills due to her experience in trying over 100 cases to verdict, many from her days as a prosecutor with Dallas County. In cases that come to an agreement before trial, Ms. Briner successfully negotiates on behalf of her clients, always pursing the best possible outcome.
