Mark Rush Williamson

Mark Rush Williamson is a partner at Williamson Family Law, located in the heart of Dallas, Texas. He is dedicated to helping individuals navigate some of life's most challenging situations, focusing on family law matters such as divorce, custody and support, modifications, grandparents’ rights, paternity, and even complex business and property division cases.

With over 25 years of experience, Mark is well-known for his genuine kindness and empathy. He understands how sensitive family law issues can be and takes the time to guide his clients through the legal process with care and compassion. At the same time, he fights tirelessly to protect their rights and best interests.

Mark’s academic journey began at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He then pursued his law degree at The University of Texas School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctorate in 1985. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Tax Court.

Deeply involved in the legal community, Mark is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Dallas Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, and the Collin County Bar Association. Born and raised in Dallas, Mark is also a proud father of three wonderful children. When he’s not advocating for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his rescue horses—a passion that reflects his kind and caring nature both inside and outside the courtroom.
