    Attorney Profile

The founder of The Conlon Law Firm, P.C., Mary Elizabeth Conlon has developed a well-deserved reputation as a skilled civil trial attorney. Based in Dallas, Texas, she provides representation to individual and business clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 2004, Ms. Conlon is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Conlon's business litigation caseload has encompassed shareholder and partner disputes, trade secret misappropriation, noncompete agreements, real estate issues, contract breaches, employment matters, and officer and director liability. She represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas, transportation, banking, construction, commercial real estate, manufacturing and hospitality. Ms. Conlon has been able to obtain favorable results in many of these matters, both through jury verdicts and settlements that she has negotiated out of court.

Ms. Conlon attended Baylor University as an undergraduate, and in 2001, she received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in communications, with minors in political science and Spanish. Remaining on campus, she pursued her legal education at Baylor University Law School on a Dean's Academic Excellence Scholarship, and she participated in moot court competitions before being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2004. Ms. Conlon was a partner at another Dallas law firm before founding The Conlon Law Firm, P.C., in January 2012.

Ms. Conlon has been a participant in several legal organizations, including the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Dallas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court. Active in her community as well, she is a member of the Dallas Museum of Art League and the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center.
