Melissa Cowle

An associate attorney at the law firm of Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson LLP, in Dallas, Texas, Melissa Cowle is a dedicated attorney who helps clients dealing with family law issues to navigate through this difficult and overwhelming time in their lives. She represents clients with matters involving divorce, parental visitation, spousal support, property division, marital agreements, paternity and modifications.

Licensed to practice in Texas since 2016, Ms. Cowle is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from Southern Methodist University in Texas, where she received the SMU Distinguished Scholarship and was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

Ms. Cowle then went on to pursue her legal education at The University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. At law school, she served as the director of marketing and communication for the sports and entertainment law society and was a member of the social chair of the OU Law Golf Club. As part of the legal course, she interned for a renowned judge at the 302nd District Family Court. 

With a genuine concern for her clients, Ms. Cowle is a zealous advocate who fights aggressively for the rights and liberties of her clients. Ms. Cowle holds active memberships in several legal associations such as the State Bar of Texas, the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Family Law Section of the Collin County Bar Association, the Texas Family Law Foundation and the Collin County Women Lawyers Association. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery (AiRs), an organization that supports survivors of breast cancer.
