He then attended Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2011 and graduated Order of the Barristers.

Mr. Rogers holds his admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and he is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the Texas and Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Associations, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
