Nick Toufexis

Nick Toufexis is a partner at Saputo Toufexis | Criminal Defense PLLC in Dallas, Texas, and serves the residents of the surrounding region as well as in Tarrant, Rockwall, Collin, Denton, McLennan, Grayson, Montague, Ellis, Navarro and Parker counties, among many others. He is a criminal defense attorney and is well-equipped to handle strenuous and complex legal matters such as DUI/DWIs, federal drug charges, high-stakes misdemeanors, sex offender deregistration, judicial clemency, expunctions and many others, and with every case he takes on, he maintains consistency in his stalwart advocacy and pursues every available legal avenue to ease his clients’ legal situations.

A 2013 B.A. degree graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology in criminal justice and corrections, Mr. Toufexis went on to attend the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. During his time in law school, he strengthened his legal knowledge and participated in many events on campus to bolster his practical exposure, benefiting his clients today. He received his Juris Doctor in 2020, and a year later, he obtained his license to practice in Texas. In addition to being able to practice across all Texas state courts, he is admitted to practice before all Texas courts of appeal, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Texas Supreme Court.  

Mr. Toufexis spent over a decade serving in the United States Navy, and the discipline instilled in him during this time has been an invaluable asset to his clients. He understands pressure, especially in life-or-death situations. No matter what happens inside or outside the courtroom, he is unphased and sticks to the custom strategies tailored specifically to his clients. Within his legal community, Mr. Toufexis holds close affiliations to organizations such as the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas. Furthermore, he is the co-chair of the Solo and Small Firms Committee within the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and was acknowledged as One to Watch by the same organization. He also routinely published articles in an effort better educate the public in regard to his practice area.
