Dena A. Reecer

The owner of The Reecer Law Firm, P.L.L.C., in Denton, Texas, Dena A. Reecer is an estate planning and probate attorney, assisting clients with legal matters, such as estate administration, wills and trusts, and probate litigations. She represents clients in and around Denton and Dallas. 

Rooted in Texas, Ms. Reecer has a bachelor’s degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin. She was first admitted to practice in Texas in 1988, after graduating with a law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Her other bar admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas (1990) and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas (1991). 

Ms. Reecer is a specialist in estate planning and probate law, board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She helps clients with a wide range of issues related to estate planning and estate administration – taxable and nontaxable estates, asset protection, family wealth preservation, and contested estate and trust matters.

A former assistant district attorney, Ms. Reecer is well respected by her clients and peers for her professionalism, diligence and attention to detail.
