Rebecca Lynn Lively

Rebecca Lynn Lively is the founder of Rebecca Lively Law, based in Denton, Texas, where she provides comprehensive legal representation to individuals facing a wide range of criminal and personal legal matters. With a practice that covers criminal defense, DUI and DWI, violent crimes, sex crimes, juvenile defense, as well as wills and trusts, she is committed to protecting her clients’ rights while guiding them through high-stakes legal situations.

In her criminal defense practice, she represents individuals accused of serious offenses, working to ensure fair treatment within the justice system and striving for the most favorable outcomes possible. An academic scholar, Ms. Lively graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in 2002 before pursuing her legal education at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2007. During her time in law school, she built a strong foundation in legal analysis, courtroom procedure and advocacy.

Licensed to practice law in Texas since 2007, Ms. Lively maintains active involvement in several professional organizations, including the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Denton County Criminal Bar Association. She previously was a member of the Texas District & County Attorneys Association. Beyond her legal work, she serves as vice president of development for the Argyle Education Foundation, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community engagement and service.
