Jeffery McElroy has represented his clients throughout all stages of litigation for 39 years. An associate at Lovett Law Firm, he has extensive experience in handling personal injury matters such as auto disasters, drunk driving, motorcycle collisions, truck crashes, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, product liability and wrongful death. In El Paso, Texas, he does everything possible to help his clients reach their objectives.
After 28 years of defending insurance companies, Mr. McElroy became knowledgeable about the strategies used by the defendants to lower their final payment amounts. He has over 125 jury trial judgments under his belt, giving him extensive knowledge of the courtroom procedure. Additionally, he is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in personal injury trial law.
At Baylor University, Mr. McElroy earned his bachelor's degree in arts in 1981. In 1985, he graduated from Baylor Law School with his Juris Doctor. That same year, he was licensed to practice law in Texas and later gained admission to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and in New Mexico in 2001.
Mr. McElroy holds an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and is recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He was also inducted into the Texas Lawyer Verdicts Hall of Fame in 2014. Furthermore, he is fluent in Spanish.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. McElroy is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of New Mexico and the El Paso Bar Association. He has also contributed to his community through his past involvement with the Paso Del Norte civic development group.
