Joseph Robert Veith is an accomplished attorney with a comprehensive background in both civil and criminal litigation. The owner of the El Paso-based law firm – Joseph Veith Law, in Texas, Mr. Veith began his career in law as a felony prosecutor at the El Paso District Attorney’s Office, where he developed a strong foundation in legal practice, handling serious criminal cases with precision and dedication. Currently, his practice covers state criminal defense, federal criminal defense and personal injury focused mostly on auto and trucking accidents, serving the counties of El Paso, Hudspeth and Culberson.
Mr. Veith’s early work as a staff attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) saw him representing low-income residents of El Paso, where he was deeply committed to advocating for the most vulnerable sectors of the community. In Seattle, Mr. Veith joined a prestigious boutique litigation law firm where he broadened his practice to encompass both sides of civil litigation, achieving significant successes for his clients, including a seven-figure personal injury settlement and handling sensitive wrongful death cases. His adept negotiation skills have made him a strong advocate in and out of the courtroom.
In addition to his legal accomplishments, Mr. Veith has been recognized on a national scale, notably featured in the Emmy Award-winning HBO VICE News Documentary, “Zero Tolerance,” leading efforts to reunite an immigrant family. His legal acumen is also reflected in his "Superb" rating on Avvo.
