Dana J. Stewart

A partner and co-founder of Grinke & Stewart Law, attorney Dana J. Stewart has 17-plus years of experience representing families in Frisco and Dallas, Texas. He identifies his clients’ goals and helps them make informed decisions that make sense for their families. His practice areas include:

Concentrating on criminal justice, Mr. Stewart completed his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, at the University of North Texas in 2001. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2005. He is licensed to appear before the state courts of Texas (2005) and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. 

A knowledgeable and reliable advocate, Mr. Stewart does everything in his power to get the stress out of families and pushes for nothing short of what they require and deserve. He has advocated for the rights of several well-known sports professionals and is a certified guardian ad litem. He also frequently assists courts as an amicus attorney in child custody and other divorce matters. 

A fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, Mr. Stewart currently serves as a director of the Collin County Bar Association. Previously, Mr. Stewart was the Vice President of the Collin County Young Laws Association.  He also functioned as a barrister at the Curt B. Henderson American Inn of Court and as a volunteer attorney at the Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas. Furthermore, he holds memberships in the Texas Bar College, the Collin County Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association.  

Mr. Stewart has been honored in many ways for his valuable services and achievements. In addition to the "Superb" rating, Avvo bestowed him with its Clients’ Choice and Top Contributor Awards.
