Justin B. Wilson

The founding attorney and owner of My Dallas Criminal Lawyer, Justin B. Wilson, has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2013. With his firm based in Frisco, Texas, he focuses his practice on criminal defense, including matters of DWI, assault, and domestic violence. Extending his practice to the areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, he also uses his experience to serve his clients as a mediator to mediate and resolve conflicts between parties.

Mr. Wilson graduated from Fossil Ridge High School and pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree at Baylor University. He then secured a master’s in cinematography and film/video production from his alma mater. It was at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law that he showcased his oratorical skills in moot court, achieving state and national recognition, and earned a Juris Doctor in 2013.

Beginning his legal career at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Wilson quickly ascended from a role as a prosecutor to the misdemeanor court chief. In this capacity, he earned recognition for his dedication to training new prosecutors and taught courses on the legal aspects of DWI investigations at the academy. His tenure as a felony prosecutor further solidified his litigation skills before he transitioned into private practice.

In private practice, Mr. Wilson’s approach combines interest-based negotiation with creative problem-solving to advocate effectively for his clients. In criminal defense cases, he meticulously analyzes the state’s case, identifying weaknesses and fighting vigorously for justice.
