Justin B. Wilson

Justin B. Wilson is a former Collin County prosecutor and founding attorney of My Dallas Criminal Lawyer in Frisco, Texas, where he focuses exclusively on criminal defense and DWI cases. He brings a unique dual perspective to his practice, drawing on his experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney to advocate effectively for his clients.

Mr. Wilson earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Baylor University and his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law. While still in law school, he tried his first case—a DWI jury trial in Collin County—successfully securing a conviction.

In 2013, he was recruited by the Collin County District Attorney’s Office as a misdemeanor prosecutor before even taking the bar exam, underscoring his early promise. During his tenure, he rose to misdemeanor court chief, handled a high volume of DWI and criminal cases, mentored incoming prosecutors, and became certified in standardized field sobriety testing. He also trained law enforcement officers on DWI detection and enforcement and later advanced to prosecuting felony offenses. This extensive prosecutorial experience continues to inform his defense strategy today.

My Dallas Criminal Lawyer has earned multiple honors, including recognition among Frisco’s “Best DUI Lawyers” by Expertise.com and being named a 2025 Dallas Morning News Best DWI Lawyer. Mr. Wilson is also a member of the Texas Bar College.

Active in his community, Mr. Wilson serves as presiding judge for the Wylie Teen Court Program and has held leadership roles in local bar associations. A former Baylor University lecturer, he is known for his clear communication and strong courtroom advocacy. He represents clients throughout Collin, Denton, Dallas, and Rockwall counties.
