Laura E. Jones

Attorney Laura E. Jones is a partner at Mackoy, Hernandez, Jones and Woods LLP in Frisco, Texas. Ms. Jones practices in the areas of family law and alternative dispute resolution. She handles cases in areas such as divorce, adoption, children’s issues, paternity, property division, and wills and serves clients throughout North Texas.

Ms. Jones obtained a bachelor’s degree from Austin College and graduated cum laude. She went on to earn her law degree with honors from The University of Tulsa College of Law. In 2011, she received her license to practice law in the state of Texas. She is authorized to practice before all Texas state courts.

Ms. Jones is active in the family law section, as well as the alternative dispute resolution section of the State Bar of Texas. Recognized for her many accomplishments, she is a member of the Texas Bar College, an honor society of the highest trained attorneys in Texas. She earned membership in the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College due to her commitment to pro bono service and is among the 1/3 of 1% of Texas attorneys elected as a Fellow to the Texas Bar Foundation in 2019.
