She earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1991, following her cum laude Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Ms. Jack’s work in complex sexual assault cases led to her appointment to the Governing Board of the Texas Civil Commitment Office by Governor Rick Perry in 2011, overseeing the state’s high-risk sex offenders. She was named board chair in 2014 and later reappointed to the position by Governor Greg Abbott. Her leadership within the legal community also includes serving as chair of the State Bar of Texas Criminal Justice Section.
